Planning Commission Public Hearings and Mark-up Meeting

Schedule for 2008 BRAC Area Plans Review

Public hearings for the 2008 BRAC Area Plans Review have not been scheduled at this time, but are expected to be held in October 2008. The schedule will be posted here as soon as it is available.

TO SIGN UP TO SPEAK AT THE PUBLIC HEARINGS: Sign up online or call the Planning Commission office at 703-324-2865 (TTY 703-324-2951) to be added to the Speakers List. Planning Commission staff can answer questions about public hearing procedures.

Location: Board Auditorium, Fairfax County Government Center

These meetings are broadcast live on Cable Channel 16 and the Channel 16 Web site.

Public hearings for nominations not begun before midnight will be scheduled for the carryover meeting. At the mark-up meeting, the Planning Commission will vote on recommendations for each nomination. The mark-up meeting is a public meeting, but no public testimony is heard.
