Environmental Quality Advisory Council - Meeting Information

The Fairfax County Environmental Quality Advisory Council (EQAC) is an advisory group that has been appointed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to advise the Board on environmental matters. The Council generally meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:15 p.m. at the Hidden Oaks Nature Center, 7701 Royce Street, Annandale, although there are occasionally exceptions.  Meetings begin promptly and are open to the public.

Each year, EQAC holds a public hearing to obtain input from interested parties on issues of environmental concern.  It is anticipated that the next public hearing will be held in January 2018.  The public is encouraged to attend and share views on the state of the environment and to identify any environmental issues applicable to Fairfax County. The public is also invited to attend any EQAC meeting and to submit correspondence for EQAC's consideration at any time.
