Environmental Quality Advisory Council Membership Information
The Fairfax County Environmental Quality Advisory Council (EQAC) is an advisory group that has been appointed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to advise the Board on environmental matters. The Council is comprised of one citizen representative from each Magisterial District, four at-large members and one student representative. Each member is appointed by the Board of Supervisors to serve a three year term, except the student member, who serves during his or her senior year of high school.
If you are interested in serving as a member of EQAC, and there is a vacant position in the district in which you reside, contact your district supervisor's office.
