On April 8, 2014 the Board of Supervisors (Board) authorized the consideration of a Comprehensive Plan amendment for 5285 Port Royal Road (Tax Maps 70-4((10))503 and 503A) in the Braddock Supervisor District, Annandale Planning District.  

The adopted Plan for this area recommends lower intensity industrial uses up to .30 FAR. The Board has requested that staff consider converting portion of the warehouse to a self-storage use up to 1.0 FAR, and including residential uses on subject area for the subject property. Conditions relating to preventing peak hour traffic congestion and limiting conversion to interior should be considered.

Planning Commission public hearing:  Thursday, October 9th at 8:15 P.M.
Board of Supervisors public hearing:  Tuesday, November 18th at 4:00 P.M.
