Reston Land Use College


What is the Reston Land Use College?

  • A series of four classes hosted by staff from the Department of Planning and Zoning.

  • The classes are designed to acquaint Reston area residents, landowners, employers, employees and other interested individuals with key elements of the land use planning and development review processes for the planned community of Reston and adjacent areas along the Dulles Corridor.

  • These classes will form the foundation for public participation in the upcoming study to review and update the Fairfax County Comprehensive Plan for the Reston area.
