WHAT CIL DOES

The objectives of the Community Interfaith Liaison office are as follows:

• Strengthen community, interfaith, and Fairfax County communications
• Strengthen existing and facilitate new cooperative and collaborative human service efforts between community and interfaith groups and Fairfax County.

HOW CIL DOES IT

We strengthen and facilitate community and interfaith partnerships through:

• Linking the Fairfax County faith-based community to County human service program, project, and need information through community events, including training programs, forums, conferences, workshops, and joint faith, community, and County meetings.
• Assisting the faith-based community in accessing information about existing faith community cooperative and collaborative partnerships with community-based organizations and/or local government.
