The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development provides funding through the Homeless Assistance Program in an annual competitive grant process known as the Continuum of Care. Both public agencies and private nonprofit organizations participate in this collaborative grant process, and Fairfax County organizations receive funding for more than two dozen programs. The annual cycle is announced as part of the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development Super-NOFA, usually in late winter or early spring each year. Announcements or Other Documents about the process are listed on this page during the grant application cycle.
