Fairfax County Economic Index
The Fairfax County Economic Index, comprised of a coincident index and a leading index, provides a framework for analyzing the strength of the current County economy and for forecasting future economic changes. Being able to track the local economy's monthly performance and forecast this performance over the near-term, gives local government and business decision-makers a critical advantage -- enabling them to reduce the risk of being caught unprepared for changes in the economy's performance.
2009
As of July 2009 the Fairfax County Economic Index monthly publication is not available due to budget reduction, please refer to the Fairfax County Economic Indicators for current County economy and forecasting future economic changes.
