                        1.  Electronic Poll Books

                        2.  Assignment of Poll Books/ ratio to registered voters

                        3.  Information on who has voted absentee

                        4.  Provisional ballot procedures

                        5.  Language barriers/ disability barriers

            D.  Voting Machines

                        1.  Inventory of number of each type of machine

                        2.  Allocation to precinct process

                                    a. Same process for each election

                                    b. Previous precinct allocation of machines

                        3.  Problems with using two types of machines

                        4.  ADA requirements

                        5.  Cost of machines

                        6.  Ballot complexity

II.   Election officials/ poll workers

            A.  Positions and duties of workers

                        1.  Timeline for recruitment

                        2.  Number required and selection process

                        3.  Same number required for each election

                        4.  Stipends

            B.  Training

                        1.  Manuals and materials available

                        2.  Training time required

                        3.  Chief Judge training and materials

                        4.  Training for poll book operation/ provisional ballot procedures

Proposed procedure:  After the completion of each topic, the Commission may decide what recommendations, if any, it wishes to forward to the Board of Supervisors on that issue.  At the end of the process it may review the recommendations and develop a final report for approval by the Commission.
