Each radio signal has a coverage area of up to five miles.

11 transmitters provide coverage across the 400-square-mile
county.

1670 AM is a non-commercial station licensed by the Federal
Communications Commission.

On a day-to-day basis, the radio station broadcasts emergency
preparedness messages.
- During emergencies, messages about the situation, and how to stay safe, can be localized or broadcast across the entire system.
