Is your workplace prepared for a disaster?
Here’s your daily tip for National Preparedness Month:
Like individuals, workplaces should all have site-specific emergency plans. Ask your employer about the plans and procedures in the event of an emergency.
Some things to consider include building escape routes, sheltering in place plans, communications plans, and teleworking policies during an emergency.

National Preparedness Month 2011
National Preparedness Month (NPM) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Ready Campaign. NPM is held each September and its goal is to:
