Prepare for winter driving with these
road safety tips.
Keep an emergency kit in your vehicle. The following are suggested items:

Blanket
- Cellular phone for use during emergencies and notifying those expecting your arrival in case of weather delays.
- Clothes with warm, comfortable footwear
- Duct tape

- First-aid kit
- Flashlight with extra batteries
- Food, such as snack bars
- Fuel line de-icer (methanol, also called methyl alcohol or methyl hydrate)
- Gloves - latex or polyurethane
