Board Referrals:
There were no new referrals from the Board of Supervisors.
County Plan
There was a brief discussion of the meeting between the TAC, EQUAC, and the Planning Commission (PC) regarding the “county plan”. The joint meeting was fairly brief. The TAC will examine the results and update as necessary.
Transportation Policy Statement Review
Janyce Hedenteniemi asked the TAC to review recent updates to the plan. The TAC reviewed and edited the document—edits compiled by county staff and Ms. Hedetniemi. In general, the goal statements were reviewed with the recommendations being to make the document more general, shorter, more comprehensible, and remove jargon.
Detailed discussion of multiple items occurred including significant discussion of HOV and HOT. Discussion of prioritization of comments from various sources also occurred.
Editing of various sections was discussed. County Staff presented some comments from the Non-Motorized Committee.
The TAC indicated the expectation that the final version will reflect TAC comments and be acceptable to the TAC.
Jeff Parnes requested that changes with district specific impact be sent to the impacted TAC representative.
Other Business
Meeting minutes of 06/0/05 were approved.
