Deputy Chief, Training
This position manages the department's training programs. Last
year, the Fire and Rescue Training Division
hosted more than 275,000 hours of on-campus training. Highlighted
training events include: recruit schools for career firefighters;
continuous basic skills training for career and volunteer personnel;
specialty training for trucks, squads, hazardous materials and
technical rescue functions; and, certification and re-certification
training of all paramedic and emergency medical personnel.
