McLean Commercial Building Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department units responded to a commercial building fire at approximately 9:10 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2006, in the McLean area of Fairfax County. The three-story building is located at 1487 Chain Bridge Road.

Firefighters reported smoke visible from the rear of the structure. Firefighters brought the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes. There were no reported injuries.

Damage is estimated at $100,000.

According to fire investigators, the fire was accidental. An electrical coffee maker caused the fire.
