Falls Church House Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department units responded to a house fire at approximately 9:10 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2006, in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County. The Cape- Cod style home is located at 3136 Cofer Road.

Firefighters reported heavy fire through the roof upon arrival. The home was vacant at the time of the fire. The fire was brought under control in approximately 15 minutes. There were no injuries.

Damage is estimated at $75,000.

According to fire investigators, the fire was accidental. The fire originated in the attic’s electrical system.
