Edsall Industrial Park Warehouse Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department units responded to a warehouse fire Sunday, December 10, 2006, at approximately 8:05 a.m. in the Shirley Edsall Industrial Park. The strip warehouse is located at 5605-E General Washington Drive.

Firefighters saw fire coming from the front eaves of the one-story building. The fire was quickly extinguished. All 16 businesses within the building sustained a temporary loss of power. There were no injuries.

Damage is estimated $75,000.

According to fire investigators, the fire is under investigation.
