Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged Michael A. Baglini, 46, from the Centreville area on Thursday, July 26, 2007, for manufacture, possession, use of explosive materials or devices (Class 5 felony, Virginia Code § 18.2-85).
Baglini was arrested in connection with a house fire involving explosive material on Sunday, July 15, 2007, at 13513 Portage Place in the Centreville area. No injuries were reported.
Class 5 felonies can convey a term of imprisonment of not less than one year nor more than ten years, or in the discretion of the jury or the court trying the case without a jury, confinement in jail for not more than twelve months and a fine of not more than $2,500, either or both.
Michael Baglini turned himself in to authorities this morning. He has been released pending court hearing.
