Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged Anthony Sofo, 20, of 12500 block of Summer Place, in the Franklin Farm area, with two felony charges Monday, March 9, 2009.

Franklin Farm Man Charged With Setting Vehicle Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged Anthony Sofo, 20, of 12500 block of Summer Place, in the Franklin Farm area, with two felony charges Wednesday, March 18, 2009.

Sofo was charged for burning a vehicle valued over $200 (Class 4 Felony, Virginia Code 18.2-81), and for starting a fire capable of spreading (Class 6 Felony, Virginia Code 18.2-86). The charges are in connection with a vehicle fire, August 18, 2008, at 12509 Summer Place. There were no Injuries.

Damages estimated at $7,000.

Sofo is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
