Ticket Booth Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department units responded to a structure fire at approximately 5:40 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Chantilly High School, located at 4201 Stringfellow Road.

Firefighters encountered a ticket booth approximately 14’ x 20’ on fire at the rear of Chantilly High School. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control. There were no injuries.

Damage is estimated at $6,000. The structure was a complete loss. 

According to fire investigators, the cause of the fire was fireworks. The fire is under investigation.
