Burke Man Charged With Setting Fires

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged Sunny Mann, 29, of 9000 block of Humphries Drive, Burke, with setting two separate fires to the interior of a home on Monday, September 21, 2009.

The man was charged with setting fire to an occupied dwelling, and destroying personal property (Virginia Code 18.2-77, 18.2-79, and 18.2-81). The fire was set in two separate rooms in the home and was quickly extinguished. There were no injuries.

Damage was estimated at $1,000.
