Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged Gilberto Amaya-Quezada, 53, of 6000 block of Bellview Drive, Falls Church, with intentionally setting a small fire in the interior of an apartment, Saturday, April 24, 2010.
Amaya-Quezada was charged with the burning of an occupied dwelling (Virginia Code 18.2-77, Class 4 Felony). He set fire to a blanket inside an apartment. The fire was quickly extinguished.
He is currently being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond. There were no injuries.
