Juvenile Charged With Setting Fire

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged a male juvenile with damaging property by fire, in the 15200 block of Dumas Court, May 12, 2010. The fire occurred April 1, 2010, at approximately 2:30 p.m., in a common area near single family homes in the Centreville area.

The juvenile is charged with setting fire to woods, (Class 6 Felony, Virginia Code 18.2-86).

Fire crews quickly extinguished the approximately 75 by 25 foot brush fire. There was no damage to any structures and there were no injuries.
