Man Charged With Setting Fire, Fraud

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged an adult male with burning an occupied building and several other related charges, Friday, December 3, 2010. 

Kevin Court, 12000 block of Summit Manor Drive, Fairfax, was charged with burning or destroying a dwelling house (Virginia Code 18.2-77), burning or destroying personal property greater than $200 with the intent to defraud an insurance company or other person (Virginia Code 18.2-81), obtaining money by false pretense, (Virginia Code 18.2-178), and receiving stolen property (Virginia Code 18.2-108).

The charges are related to a August 4, 2010 fire in the Lorton area of Fairfax County.
