When: 9 a.m.–2 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2012.
Fairfax County firefighters will be sponsoring children’s haircuts from 9 a.m.–2 p.m., Monday, August 27, at Gum Springs Recreation Center.
Off-duty firefighters/barbers, the Progressive Firefighters of Fairfax County, Inc., WKYS 93.9 FM, and local barbers throughout the community will provide free haircuts for local kids on free or reduced lunch plans in anticipation of the new school year. Through everyone’s generous donation of time and barbering skills, these children will receive needed haircuts.
