Intentionally Set School Fire

Date:  May 28, 2014

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department and Fairfax City Fire Department units responded to a school fire Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at approximately 7:40 a.m. at Robinson Secondary School which is located at 5035 Sideburn Road.

Firefighters encountered a fire in the second floor boys' restroom near entrance six of the school. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. The school was evacuated for less than an hour. There were no injuries.

Damage is estimated at $1,000.

The fire is under investigation.
