Firefighters Honor Departed Fire Captain

Fifth Annual Will Seng Classic Basketball Games

at 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

George Mason Patriot Center
4500 Patriot Circle
Fairfax, VA 22030

Parking: Lots A & L (adjacent to building) or Lot K (across the circle)
Spectators will enter at the south entrance.


The Fairfax Fire and Rescue Department will sponsor the Fifth Annual Will Seng Basketball Classic, August 28, 2007, at the George Mason Patriot Center. The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 6:15 p.m., pitting the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office against the Fire and Rescue Department's Senior Staff and Fire Prevention staff. The second game, beginning at 7:30 p.m., will match the Fire and Rescue Department versus the Fairfax County Police Department.

Captain Will Seng passed away on December 26, 2003, with pancreatic cancer. He was assigned as Shift Leader at Fire and Rescue Station 30, Merrifield. The proceeds will be used for the Firefighter's Fund. The fund assists Fire and Rescue Department personnel in times of need.

Admission will be $5. No charge for George Mason University students with student ID’s. One concession stand will be open for spectators.
