Firefighters, Staff Plan Homeless Shelter Food Drive

Firefighters and staff in cooperation with employee groups have planned a non-perishable food drive for county homeless shelters. The deadline to drop off non-perishable food is February 11 at all fire and rescue stations.

Food donations will be accepted from the public and department members through February 11, 2009. All department employee groups are supporting this initiative.
