Fire Inspector Recertification Training & Continuing Education - April 4, 2012
On Wednesday, April 4, 2012, the Office of the Fire Marshal (FMO) will conduct continuing education training for fire inspectors certified by the Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP) and the Virginia Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD). The training session will be held from 6:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the Public Safety Conference Center on the A-Level of the Massey Building (Public Safety Center) located in the City of Fairfax.
- TOPIC - Access-Controlled Egress, Delayed Egress, and Stairway Door Locks
- MATERIALS - 2009 Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) (Bring this book with you!)
For updates on scheduled training dates, times and locations, refer to the fire inspector recertification and continuing education section of this website or call 703-246-4753 or 703-246-4803 for up-to-date information and changes. To verify class cancellations, please call no more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled training date.
If the Fairfax County government grants Unscheduled Leave, or if the County government is closed, the scheduled training class for that day is cancelled.
