The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Best Buddies Club of Oakton
High School for being selected to receive the 2009-2010 Outstanding
Chapter Award from Best Buddies International.
Fairfax High School 75th Anniversary
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Fairfax High School for its
75th anniversary.
Nicole Ferraro
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Nicole Ferraro for establishing
the Bite Me Cancer Foundation to raise funds for cancer research and to
help children and teens with cancer.
Morteza Salehi
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Morteza Salehi for his years
service to Fairfax County as the Virginia Department
of Transportation Northern Virginia district administrator.
Fairfax Advocates for Better Bicycling
The Board of Supervisors will recognize the members of Fairfax Advocates
for Better Bicycling for preparing the Guide for Reviewing Public Road
Design and Bicycling Accommodations for Virginia Bicycling Advocates
Larry Ichter
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Larry Ichter for his years
of service to Fairfax County.
2010 National Gold Medal Award
The Fairfax County Park Authority will present the
2010 National Gold Medal Award for excellence in park and recreation
administration to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
