Mark Bendorf
The Board of Supervisors recognized Mark Bendorf, recently retired Robinson Secondary School football coach, for his dedication to the sport of football and the contributions he has made to Fairfax County.

Park Authority Farmers Markets
The Board of Supervisors recognized the Fairfax County Park Authority for its supervision of the Fairfax County Farmers Markets, which have been in existence for more than 30 years.

Audrey Moore RECenter Staff
The Board of Supervisors recognized staff of the Audrey Moore RECenter who were instrumental in saving the life of a county resident.

Tawny Hammond
The Board of Supervisors recognized Tawny Hammond, president of the Springfield Civic Association, for her ongoing efforts for people with disabilities, who are members of the association, to fully participate in matters of safety, quality of life and home values.

Bike to Work Day
The Board of Supervisors recognized the Fairfax County Department of Transportation, the sponsor and the bicycling community for promoting Bike to Work Day as an effective means to improve air quality, reduce traffic congestion and promote wellness.

Springfield Days
The Board of Supervisors designated June 2-5 as Springfield Days in Fairfax County.

The Office of Public Affairs coordinates resident presentations and recognitions by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors at its regular meetings.
