Sophie Chase
The Board of Supervisors recognized Sophie Chase of Lake Braddock Secondary School for earning All-American honors at the 2011 Footlocker National Cross Country Finals and being named the Gatorade 2011 Cross Country Runner of the Year in Virginia.

Schools Named After African-Americans
The Board of Supervisors recognized Fairfax County Public Schools and a center named after African-Americans.

EnviroSolutions To Be Recognized
The Board of Supervisors recognized EnviroSolutions, Inc., for its contribution to the Lorton Community Action Center.

Fairfax County Park Foundation
The Board of Supervisors recognized the Fairfax County Park Foundation for its 10th anniversary.

Tuberculosis Awareness Month
The Board of Supervisors designated March as Tuberculosis Awareness Month in Fairfax County.

The Office of Public Affairs coordinates presentations and recognitions by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors at its regular meetings.
