Presentation pictures are typically available the afternoon of the scheduled meeting.

Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard
The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard for winning first place for the third consecutive year at the competition sponsored by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.

Training Properties Provided
The Board of Supervisors will recognize those who have made properties available for training to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department and the Police Department.

Emergency Preparedness Month
The Board of Supervisors will designate September as Emergency Preparedness Month in Fairfax County.

The Arc of Northern Virginia 50th Anniversary
The Board of Supervisors will recognize The Arc of Northern Virginia for its 50th anniversary.

Trudy Harsh
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Trudy Harsh for establishing the Brain Foundation to provide housing for people with brain disorders.

Jas Boothe
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Jas Boothe for establishing Final Salute, Inc., which provides transitional housing for female veterans and their children.

Suicide Prevention Week
The Board of Supervisors will designate Sept. 9-15, as Suicide Prevention Week in Fairfax County.

Hispanic Heritage Month
The Board of Supervisors will designate Sept. 15-Oct. 15, as Hispanic Heritage Month in Fairfax County.

The Office of Public Affairs coordinates presentations and recognitions by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors at its regular meetings.
