The Office of Public Affairs coordinates presentations and recognitions by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors at its regular meetings; these are typically listed here the day prior to the meeting, with photos and video available following the meeting.

Herndon High School Co-Ed Varsity Cheer Team
The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Herndon High School Co-Ed Varsity Cheer Team for winning first place at the Virginia High School League State Cheer Championships.

Annandale High School Culinary Arts Program
The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Annandale High School Culinary Arts Program for its achievements at the SkillsUSA competition.

Brian Heintz
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Brian Heintz for being named the Virginia 2012 History Teacher of the Year.

Kids Sending Smiles
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Kids Sending Smiles for its outreach to victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Ethan Kauffman
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Ethan Kauffman for his Eagle Scout project to organize volunteers and restore the community garden at Hayfield Park.
