After each meeting you may read the official meeting summary and the final agenda and board package.

The Office of Public Affairs coordinates presentations and recognitions by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors at its regular meetings; these are typically listed here the day prior to the meeting, with photos and video available following the meeting.

False Alarm Management Award
The Security Industry Alarm Coalition will present the Directors Award of Distinction for Excellence in False Alarm Management to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Training Properties Provided
The Board of Supervisors will recognize those who have made properties available for training to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department and the Police Department.

Rugby Virginia High School State Champions
The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Fairfax Police Youth Club Women's High School Rugby Team and the Men's Northern Virginia High School Rugby Football Club for winning the Rugby Virginia High School Division I state championships.

Ken Disselkoen
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Kenneth Disselkoen for his years of service to Fairfax County.

Robert Mears, Laurnz Swartz and Ryan Randall
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Robert Mears for his years of service to Fairfax County and Laurnz Swartz and Ryand Randall for their accomplishments.

Kevin Fay
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Kevin Fay for his years of service to Fairfax County.

Barbara Doyle
The Board of Supervisors will recognize Barbara Doyle of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital for her accomplishments.

Hispanic Heritage Month
The Board of Supervisors will designate Sept. 15-Oct. 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month in Fairfax County.

Suicide Prevention Week
The Board of Supervisors will designate Sept. 8-14 as Suicide Prevention Week in Fairfax County.
