Congressmen Jim Moran and Frank Wolf  The Board of Supervisors will recognize Congressmen Jim Moran and Frank Wolf for their years of service.

Annandale High School Marching Band  The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Annandale High School Marching Band, drum majors and director, Adam Hilkert, for their accomplishments.

Police Week and Peace Officers Memorial Day  The Board of Supervisors will designate May 11-17 as Police Week and May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day in Fairfax County.

Foster Care and Foster Family Recognition Month  The Board of Supervisors will designate May as Foster Care and Foster Family Recognition Month in Fairfax County.

Child Care Professionals Week  The Board of Supervisors will designate May 4-10 as Child Care Professionals Week in Fairfax County.

Parents Who Host Lose the Most Month  The Board of Supervisors will designate May as Parents Who Host Lose the Most Month in Fairfax County.

Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month  The Board of Supervisors will designate May Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month in Fairfax County.

Nurses Week  The Board of Supervisors will designate May 6-12 as Nurses Week in Fairfax County.

Virginia Cooperative Extension Month  The Board of Supervisors will designate May as Virginia Cooperative Extension Month in Fairfax County and recognize its 100th anniversary.
