Presentations to Residents

Pink Heals Tour  The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Guardians of the Ribbon, Pink Heals Tour, for its initiative to spotlight and align the needs of the community with funds raised locally in support of women and their families.

Jean Packard  The Board of Supervisors will recognize Jean Packard for her years of service and environmental leadership.

Training Properties  The Board of Supervisors will recognize residents and businesses who have made properties available for training to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department and the Police Department.

Fairfax County Government Channel 16  The Board of Supervisors will recognize Fairfax County Government Channel 16 for its 30th anniversary.

Heritage Hill of Alexandria Townhouses Association  The Board of Supervisors will recognize the Heritage Hill of Alexandria Townhouses Association for its beautification project.

Suicide Prevention Week  The Board of Supervisors will designate Sept. 8-14 as Suicide Prevention Week in Fairfax County.

Emergency Preparedness Month  The Board of Supervisors will designate September as Emergency Preparedness Month in Fairfax County.

Hispanic Heritage Month  The Board of Supervisors will designate Sept. 15-Oct. 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month in Fairfax County.

Food Safety Awareness Week  The Board of Supervisors will designate Sept. 14-20 as Food Safety Awareness Week in Fairfax County.

Sickle Cell Awareness Month  The Board of Supervisors will designate September as Sickle Cell Awareness Month in Fairfax County.
