Private Water Well Ordinance

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors approved the amendments to Chapter 70 Private Well Water Ordinance, of the Fairfax County Code on February 7th, 2005.

Effective March 1, 2005 the following fee changes will take effect:

Individual Sewage Disposal System and Well Applications .
1-New Well only combined State/County fee - $252.50
2-New SDS/Well combined State/County fee - $515.00

Well Water Contractor License.
1-Yearly Contractors License - $150.00
2-Late Fee after January 31 - $50.00
