Residents and businesses of Fairfax County are welcome to contact any member of the Disease Carrying Insects Program (DCIP) if they have questions regarding West Nile virus, Lyme disease, other mosquito- and tick-borne diseases, mosquitoes, ticks, or any other related matters. They may also contact the DCIP to discuss mosquito- and tick-related issues on their property. Members of the news media should contact the Health Department's public information office.

Report a Problem with a Storm Drain:
For maintenance of county storm drains, assistance in determining
who maintains a storm drain, and questions about storm drainage
easements, use the Storm
Drainage Problem Report Form or call the Maintenance & Stormwater

For maintenance of storm drainage systems in public street rights-of-way (roadside ditches, curb inlets, pipes under the roadway), please call the Virginia Department of Transportation at 703-383-8368; TTY 711.
Request Stormwater Retention Pond Maintenance:
To report a problem with a stormwater retention pond, please use the

Report a Problem with Pooling Water on a Residential Property:
If water is pooling on a residential lot and you would like to
report the violation, please call Department of Code
