Fairfax County Health Care Reform Implementation Task Force
Fairfax County established the Health Care Reform Implementation Task Force in 2010 to study the provisions of the Affordable Care Act. In November 2012, the Task Force published an Action Plan that addresses key issues related to the Affordable Care Act. Read the Action Plan and learn more about the Task Force.
Fairfax County Health Collaborative
In January 2014, Fairfax County hired Health Management Associates (HMA) to build upon previous county efforts to enhance the health care delivery system for vulnerable populations in Fairfax County. Drawing on the prior work of task forces, past reports, key informant interviews, research and their own experience and expertise, HMA drafted a series of recommendations aimed at creating a seamless, integrated health safety net within Fairfax County.
