Faces of Homelessness -- Families Homelessness comes in many faces in Fairfax County, including families.

By the Numbers:

-- 60 percent of the homeless population are people in families

-- 54 percent of homeless families have incomes at or below poverty; only 4 percent have incomes above 50 percent of area median incomes

-- 61 percent of all persons in families age 18 and over were employed full or part time
