All 2011 Continuum of Care (CoC) Renewal applications have
been conditionally awarded funding by the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development. The total amount granted for
the Fairfax-Falls Church CoC is $5,670,988. >> more
Annual Point-in-Time Count ~ Jan. 25
The annual Point-in-Time Count of Homeless Persons will be
conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 25. It is expected that all
homeless providers will participate in the count,
and will also collect information through homeless

Family Shelter Intake Redesign Workgroup
In March 2011, a workgroup was tasked with redesigning the
family shelter intake process. The result would more closely
align homeless services with the community’s 10-Year Plan to

Mondloch II ~ Then and Now
After more than 20 years of continuous service, the Mondloch
II building has reached the end of its useful life. A
two-pronged plan is being implemented to continue to serve
homeless families, while simultaneously increasing the stock
