National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH) has recognized
the Fairfax-Falls Church community by highlighting its
progress toward ending homelessness in

Feb. 16 Community Forum Highlights
A record turnout marked the Community Forum on Homelessness
on Feb. 16 at the Jubilee Christian Center in Fairfax, with
at least 180 people in attendance. >> more
Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Update
In just 14 months, more than 95 percent of the
financial assistance available through the Homeless
Prevention and Rapid Re-housing (HPRP) program has been
expended. While this is a reason for concern, it also
presents an opportunity to shift our focus from implementing
HPRP to realizing HOST. >> more
Learning About Emergency and Permanent Housing
Counseling
During a 12-week course sponsored by the
Housing Locator Network and the Center for Housing
Counseling and Training, case managers and human services
staff are learning about eviction prevention, fair housing
and more. >> more
HMIS Data Quality Update
The community has made huge strides in improving the quality
of the data collected through the Homeless Management
Information System (HMIS.) Currently 81 percent of the
120 programs that use HMIS have a Data Completeness Report
Card score of A (95 percent or above.) >> more
