On Nov. 29, the Regional "Train-the-Trainer" session for the annual Point-in-Time (PiT) count at the end of January 2013 will be held at the Council of Governments offices located at 777 North Capitol St., Washington, D.C. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidance for the annual count is expected to be issued in October, so this session will provide updates on any changes in definitions or other requirements for the regional PiT count. The training is targeted to people who will be training others or leading PiT count activities in their jurisdiction. More information will be provided in the November Partner Update.
