Developing the strategic vision is only the
beginning; the strategies must be implemented to achieve the goal of
ending homelessness.
OBJECTIVES

Create a leadership structure to oversee implementation of the
plan.

Develop additional funding options and refocus existing
resources.

Prepare a long-term implementation plan with specific actions linked to
resources and the responsible organization and an annual performance
plan.

Create opportunities to ensure the voices of the homeless and people
working on the front line of service delivery are heard.

Measure success in ending homelessness and in meeting annual
performance targets using the Homeless Management Information
System

Issue and widely distribute annual performance reports.
- Ensure the community and its elected leaders are kept informed about the plan and its implementation.
