In addition, the Classification Plan is also available in pdf format. (You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print pdf files.) Unlike a position description, which is unique to each established position, the Class Specifications provide an overview of the typical duties associated with a job classification. In addition, they also outline the minimum qualifications and necessary knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) for each job class.

We have placed the Class Specifications here on our web site primarily in response to inquiries from other jurisdictions throughout the country. Job applicants might also find the Class Specifications useful in order to gain more insight into various job vacancies.

To view and print the class specifications and the compensation plans you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC. If the documents do not load correctly you may need to upload a more current version of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
