Clinical Psychologist
Salary: $30.22 to $40.29/hour, benefits eligible*
Location: In the Historic Courthouse, 4000 Chain Bridge Road,

A part-time limited term position as a Virginia licensed clinical psychologist is currently available with the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board Juvenile Forensic Programs. Primary duties include conducting psychological evaluations for the Juvenile Court and providing clinical consultation to Juvenile Court staff.
Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from an accredited college or university, and two years of postdoctoral experience as a licensed clinical psychologist in a mental health setting appropriate to the assignment; or has met the eligibility requirements of the Virginia Board of Psychology to obtain a license within six months from date of hire. Failure to obtain licensure within the specified timelines will result in termination of employment.
Special Requirements: Possession of a current license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, an Office of the Inspector General (OIG) check and a check of the Child Protective Services Registry to the satisfaction of the employer.
Preferred Qualifications: Psychological testing experience with children/adolescents; completion of at least 20 full batteries is required.

Behavioral Health Nurse Clinician/Case Manager
Salary: $25.04 to $33.38/hour, benefits eligible*
Hours: Position is part-time, 30 hours per week. In addition to
Monday through Friday daytime shifts, this position may also be expected
to work weekends, evenings, and holiday hours and may include on-call
coverage as needed to cover program requirements.
This nurse clinician is a member of an interdisciplinary outreach team providing engagement, assessment, referral and linkage, life skills education, behavioral and medical case management, crisis intervention, support services, and supportive counseling to individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Recovery-oriented services are provided in mostly non-traditional community/outreach venues (e.g., unsheltered settings, homeless shelters, jails, hospitals, client homes, job sites). The nurse will be expected to deliver and administer medications, including injections.
Minimum Qualifications:Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in nursing; plus two years of post-licensure experience as a nurse, in the specialty area of psychiatric mental health nursing, substance use disorders, intellectual disabilities, or relevant clinical specialty; or graduation from an accredited college with an associate's degree in nursing; plus four years of post-licensure experience as a nurse in the specialty area of psychiatric mental health nursing, substance use disorders, intellectual disabilities, or relevant clinical specialty.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience providing community based case management to adults with serious mental illness/co-occurring disorders. Experience working with in a Program of Assertive Community Treatment or similar service modality. Willingness to provide case management to incarcerated persons.
Special Requirements: The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and a check of the Child Protective Services Registry to the satisfaction of the employer. Valid driver's license required. Must be able to transport customers.

The Fairfax Detoxification Center, located in Chantilly, Va., has an opening for a relief licensed practical nurse. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, all shifts available, including days, evenings and nights. Includes weekends, holidays and on-call as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Preferred Qualifications: Med-Surg, substance abuse residential, Detox/Psych, and crisis intervention.

Substitute Relief Counselor (Part-Time)

Counselors needed to work with seriously mentally ill clients in crisis in a group home setting. Relief Counselor (Part-Time)

Location: Sojourn House Group Home, Fairfax
Relief Counselor positions are available at the Sojourn House therapeutic group home in Fairfax to work with eight seriously emotionally disturbed adolescent females. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision of residents, shift coverage, implementation of behavior modification programs, counseling, recreation, and socialization groups and activities.
