Substitute Relief Counselor (Part-Time)

Salary: Starting at $19.15/hour (Grade S14)
Location: The Crisis Care Program at Woodburn Place, 3300 Woodburn Road, Annandale, VA 22003

Counselors needed to work with seriously mentally ill clients in crisis in a group home setting. Hours are on an as-needed basis and can include early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, awake overnights, weekends, and holidays. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a human service field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree plus significant experience working with seriously mentally ill adult consumers in either residential or inpatient hospital settings.

Substitute Relief Counselor (Part-Time)

Counselors needed to work with seriously mentally ill (SMI) and/or substance abusing adults. Hours are on an as-needed basis and can include early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, awake overnights and weekends. For more information about these positions, call Latika Mukherjee at 703-207-9136.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human services field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with SMI population.

Relief Counselor (Part-Time)

Salary: Starting at $19.15/hour (Grade S14)
Location: Sojourn House Group Home, Fairfax

Relief Counselor positions are available at the Sojourn House therapeutic group home in Fairfax to work with eight seriously emotionally disturbed adolescent females. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision of residents, shift coverage, implementation of behavior modification programs, counseling, recreation, and socialization groups and activities. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human services field, or within one year of graduation. Driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with adolescents in a group home.

Relief Counselor (Part-Time)

Relief counselor positions available in various substance abuse treatment and dual diagnosis sites in Fairfax County. Performs a wide range of counseling tasks in a residential program. Provides needed day, evening, weekend and overnight shift coverage.
