Marketing Specialist (Management Analyst III)

Description:  Fairfax County Health Department is seeking an innovative Marketing Specialist to improve public awareness and participation in various health department programs. Conducts research on current marketing practices, trends, demographics, target markets, stakeholders’ needs, and industry best practices. Identifies market strategies based on program objectives, market characteristics and client demographics and utilizes a variety of mediums to execute strategies. Develops, implements and evaluates marketing plans. Develops and maintains relationships with referral sources and other external partners. Produces an annual marketing report summarizing effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Collaborates with team members on the design and distribution of marketing or promotional materials to maintain consistent branding and communication standards.  

Preferred Qualification:  Preferred candidates will have a an undergraduate degree program in marketing, communication, business development with at least 2-3 years of prior applicable marketing experience. Previous experience in a health care or not-for-profit environment, a plus. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to be creative and innovative; be familiar with latest trends, technologies and methodologies to include traditional and emerging marketing channels. Program Assistant (Home Health Aide)

Public Health Laboratory Technologist

Description: This position supports the Fairfax County Health Department Laboratory.  Primary duties include routine testing in Bacteriology, Mycobacteriology, Parasitology, Molecular, Rabies, and performing STD clinic duties. Behavioral Health Senior Clinician
