The Fairfax County Office for Children (OFC) operates before- and after-school child care programs for elementary school-age children throughout Fairfax County. OFC also directly operates the county's Employees' Child Care Center. These programs often need to fill temporary or substitute positions. Please note that temporary and substitute positions do not have benefits such as health insurance, retirement, holiday pay or leave.

Fairfax County Employees' Child Care Center $13.61 per hour The Fairfax County Employees' Child Care Center has immediate part-time employment opportunities in various classrooms serving children from the age of 6 weeks through five years. As an NAEYC-accredited center, preference will be given to candidates with an early childhood education degree and/or experience. Ability to work in the afternoon is a plus. Looking for enthusiastic, dependable people who enjoy working with children.
