Online Registration — County Forums on Creating a More Aging-Friendly Community

  • The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, together with the Fairfax Area Commission on Aging, is working on a plan
to create a more aging-friendly community for its older residents.

  • This summer, they are hosting community forums throughout the county to hear what residents have to say. The three focus
areas include: housing & transportation; easy access to services; healthy lifestyles & community engagement.

  • This is your chance to share your ideas on what we need to do together to ensure the county continues the progress of the
2007 50+ Action Plan for a more livable, lifelong community for the county's growing older population.

  • Once the community forums are completed, a new Fairfax 50+ Action Plan will be developed to make this a reality.

The County Forums on Creating a More Aging-Friendly Community are now completed,
and a new Fairfax 50+ Action Plan will be developed and shared with the community.
